Datto AV updates
New feature
Datto AV scheduled scans can now be done in audit mode. You can select Alert-Only in the scheduled scan settings. When deploying with the Alert-Only scheduled scan on and real-time off, you will have the opportunity to see what files may be tagged and quarantined. Add these files to the exclusions list in your Datto AV policy, then enable real-time protection.
NOTE This feature applies only to scheduled scans. Real-time detections will always quarantine suspected files.
Enhancement
Restoring a high number of quarantined files could take an extended amount of time. The restoration process has been optimized to significantly reduce the time required to restore a high volume of quarantined files.
Bug fix
Some Datto AV policy users may have experienced issues with restored files being re-quarantined. This issue has been resolved, and all files restored from quarantine are now automatically excluded from any future quarantine actions.
Datto EDR update
macOS and Linux downloads have been updated to a .bin file type, which is a traditional file extension name for macOS and Linux operating systems.
