Coming soon: Additional threat categories in Datto AV

We’re excited to announce an upcoming enhancement to Datto AV that will allow you to select additional threat categories directly within your policy settings. This improvement offers more comprehensive and granular control over how your organization detects threats and generates alerts.

Expanding your threat category selections enables you to do the following:

• Tailor alerting more precisely to your organization's risk profile.
• Improve detection coverage across a broader range of malicious behaviors.
• Identify and alert on additional third-party threat simulation tools found on websites like GitHub such as (LOLBAS, TH3xACE/EDR-Test, Infection Monkey, and others).
• Provide better protection on your terms. Whether you're conducting red team exercises or fine-tuning your response strategy, this upcoming feature provides the flexibility and depth needed to secure your environment more effectively.
