New features

  • Your Datto EDR platform now integrates with VSA 10. This integration will automatically sync organizations and locations with VSA 10 and manage all agent associations in Datto EDR to match agent associations in VSA 10. Refer to Configuring the VSA 10 integration.
  • Datto EDR functions such as real-time scanning and scheduled collections have been moved to a new named policy. During the upgrade, we will automatically review your location EDR monitors and create matching EDR named policies. Those policies will be applied to your organizations and locations for you. As a result, for those already using Datto EDR, your current collection settings will not change; they will simply be moved to a policy.
  • KaseyaOne access groups can now be assigned to Datto EDR permissions. Access your KaseyaOne settings in Datto EDR to map your KaseyaOne groups to EDR Admin or Analyst roles.

Enhancements

  • It is now possible to enable behavior-based malware detection for real-time protection scans associated with Datto AV policies. For more information, refer to Datto Antivirus (AV) policy.
  • With this release, Datto AV scan exclusion lists for files, folders and or processes are no longer case-sensitive. To learn more about creating exclusion lists, check out Best practices for creating Datto AV policies.

Bug fixes

  • We've resolved an issue that could prevent the Autotask integration from importing more than 500 accounts.

  • User role changes will now persist when accessing Datto EDR via KaseyaOne.

  • An edge case scenario existed in which endpoint files could erroneously upload to Datto's logging servers when the Endpoint Security agent synchronized its automated analysis task. We have corrected this behavior.

  • We've fixed an issue that could cause customers to see a blank screen instead of the Dashboard page when logging in to Datto EDR.

  • Under certain circumstances, some users experienced transient inability to save newly-created notifications. The notification editor will now consistently permit changes to be saved.
