New feature

  • You likely support multiple clients from a single EDR instance in your environment, each with unique threats, risks, and requirements. If so, some alerts you receive may be applicable to some clients and inapplicable to others. Now, Datto EDR enables you to create rules that suppress alerts based on specific match criteria. Learn more in our Suppressing alerts article.

Enhancements

  • We've updated the Ransomware Agent to version 1.2.3. This update includes multiple infrastructure enhancements. In addition, wrapper logs for the Rollback Driver now reside at %SystemDrive%\ProgramData\Datto\Datto Rollback Driver\Logs.

  • To help reduce duplicate alerts, this release introduces logic enchantments that help Datto EDR better determine if a detected memory event reproduces a current alert.

Bug fixes

  • Previously, widgets on the Dashboard page could report inaccurate totals for threats, vulnerabilities, risks, and endpoint counts. Now, these widgets will accurately reflect environment data.

  • We've resolved an issue that could cause protected endpoints to report an "inactive" state due to delays in the check-in process caused by infrastructure congestion.

  • Under certain circumstances, alert searches could fail to update the alert list as expected. When searching for an alert, the results returned will now match the query submitted.
